Getting Started Timeline
Step 1: Orientation
Schedule your first visit to the commissary. Learn about our facilities and safety protocols. Meet the team ready to help and assist with your business' needs.
Step 2: Kitchen Rental Orientation
If you will be baking, cooking, frying, or grilling, you will need to complete a kitchen
rental orientation. Become familiar with how each appliance works, and the importance of
leaving the kitchen as clean as you found it. Kitchen time is reserved on a first come,
first served basis.
Short/Long Term Storage:
Set up your designated storage space and house your inventory with 24/7 access.
Step 3: Schedule Your First Inspection
Now that your plan has been approved, it is time to schedule your initial inspection with our
calendar
app. Make sure to review the Inspection

Step 4: Open For Business!
Now that you are licensed, you are legally open for business!
Don't forget to register to collect and pay sales tax, and that you have the appropriate
county and city business tax receipts. Make sure to have copies of all your license and
certification documents on hand in case an inspector asks for them.
Step 5: Log Your Commissary Usage
Inspectors want to see that you are using the commissary on a regular basis; ideally at least once or twice per week. Please remember to complete the Commissary Sign-In Sheet to record and log your commissary usage.
Step 6: Schedule Your Follow Up Inspection
DBPR licenses must be inspected twice per year, or once every six months. FDACS licenses must
be inspected once per year. Schedule your follow up inspection with our calendar app. Review
